What do I stand for?

Diets

Fad diets do not work. They are another form of “get-fit-quick” schemes. They also create unhealthy relationships with food. Instead of placing constraints around your existing diet, I encourage habit based changes that will aid you in the long run. The food system, particularly in the U.S., is designed to make you unhealthy. The government and our culture has failed you. Often, it takes forming a new relationship with food to get past these barriers.

Processed foods

Processed food is killing you. I advocate for getting back to the basics. That means eating clean, whole foods that nourish your body. Preservatives, chemicals and unnecessary crap do not belong in your food. Cut that stuff out and I promise you will feel the difference.

Carnivores

I do not advocate for the carnivore diet. I do think that “meat eaters” can be healthy; however, ethics matter. You have to choose where you draw that line. For me, I find the best balance in pescetarianism.

Supplements

Unless it’s natural and actually proven to work, save your money. There are too many “snake oil” and “get-fit-quick schemes” out there.

Lifting

Form over ego, always! While lifting heavy can coincide with your goals, never sacrifice form. Injuries are not worth it. Trust me.

Steroids

They reduce your life expectancy, create unhealthy body standards and cause unnecessary damage. They are not worth it. I do not recommend them for any of my clients.

Trainers/Influencers

Most online fitness trainers and influencers are full of s***. The truth is that most of them just want your money. Unfortunately the industry is saturated with this stereotype. I believe in authenticity and creating a genuine connection with my clients. From sharing my own struggles and experiences to helping someone gain confidence to engage in different ways, this is personal. Fitness is personal.
